The Bethlehem Soccer Club (BSC) of Pennysylvania (PA), a member of the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League (LVYSL), is dedicated to the development of great youth soccer players in a soccer club environment not just for kids in the Bethlehem, PA area. Throughout Allentown, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Easton, and the greater Lehigh Valley intercounty regions of Pennsylvania, we are concentrating on teaching soccer players and coaches good sportmanship, respect, and loyalty for eachother, the soccer officials, and the other soccer club competitors. We're also part of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA).

USSF “E” LICENSE COURSE 
The Bethlehem Soccer Club will be hosting the United States Soccer Federation “E” LICENSE COURSE. The course will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on each of the following weekday evenings.
Dates: June 17 (Tues.) June 18 (Wed.) June 19 (Thurs.) June 25 (Wed.) June 26 (Thurs.)
You must attend all 5 nights to qualify for your “E” license.
Time: 6:00 – 9:30 pm

Bethlehem Soccer Club is a high level, competitive travel soccer club. It is expected that you have some soccer experience and ability to make the team, but everyone is encouraged to trying out! Tryouts will be run by the coaching staff and outside trainers from Local Universities.
Since 1986, Bethlehem Soccer Club (BSC) has been dedicated to the development of players who desire to compete at the highest level of youth soccer (ages 7 to 18). Historically recognized as one of the more successful soccer clubs in eastern Pennsylvania, our mission is two fold:
Our vision includes teaching players and coaches sportsmanship, respect and loyalty for each other, officials and competitors. Our program is focused on developing the potential talents of each participant within an enjoyable yet challenging atmosphere. Through planning and organization, leadership, and quality coaching, BSC fields teams competent to excel at any age level.
February 2006, Bethlehem Soccer Club (BSC) partners with Hanover Township, Northampton County. BSC now has a place to hang our flag with numerous playing and practice fields throughout the township and a BSC complex in the planning stages. The partnership offers many opportunities to enhance the missions of both BSC and the Hanover Township Recreation Department through resources unique to each other. Hanover Township and BSC are currently developing a recreation program that will work as a feeder group for the BSC. Watch for the return of the BSC Soccer tournament in the not to distant future.
BSC U9 Boys Team United won the U-9 LVYSL Presidents Day 2008 Indoor Cup on a 4-0 victory over Carbon Mayhem and finished undefeated at 4-0-0 record. They also won the championship for the second session U-9/U-10 division at the Turff Club with a 5-0-1 record ( combined 12-3-1 during the 2 winter leagues playing in the U-10 division).
“Congratulations to our BSC U13 Girls THUNDER team!! Champs of the Whitewater Cup Classic Tournament. The team ended up as Co-Champions, after having to end the championship game due to darkness! 2 Overtimes, and still no goals by either team!! Our girls won the 2 preliminary games 2-1 and 2-1 to put them into the finals. Great job by all the girls!! BSC up in the OOHHHHHH……..GO THUNDER!!!”
The Bethlehem Soccer Club’s U-11 Boys Team ‘Phoenix’ placed second in the October Whitewater Cup Classic Soccer Tournament in Wilkes-Barre. The loss in the finals was Phoenix’s first loss of the year. BSC Phoenix finished 2007 with an overal record of 15-2-4.
Phoenix is coached by Igor Sklyarov and Tom Vrana.
The Bethlehem Soccer Club’s U-14 Boys “Blue Steel” squad were crowned champions of the 28th Annual Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League’s Blue Division, held June 9th and June 10th at Lehigh University. The team finished their spring season undefeated at 10-0-2.
In their first game against the ENCO Galaxy, Blue Steel jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first half of play. Ben Miller scored twice. Midfielder Jack Rogers and winger Austin Poe each added single goals. Mike Murnin buried a shot in the second half and Blue Steel went on to win 6-0.
In their second match against LVYSL league rival Lower Mac Youth Association Thunder, Blue Steel’s Mike Kokosky broke loose early and scored on a breakaway to put Blue Steel out in front 1-0. Striker Ben Miller followed with two goals later in the first half, giving Blue Steel a 3-0 lead at halftime. Lower Mac struck back early in the second half, but Blue Steel’s Austin Poe poked another goal in from close range to seal the game for Blue Steel, 4-1.
In their final match, Blue Steel spotted East Hampton (CT) a 1-0 first half lead. But Blue Steel roared back with a vengeance when forward Mike Kokosky scored in the first 30 seconds of the second half. Halfback Lloyd Achey and winger Austin Poe added single tallies thereafter to lead Blue Steel to a 3-1 victory and the Blue Division Championship.
Blue Steel finished their spring season with 39 goals in 12 games. Their staunch defense, lead by keeper Ethan Arner and fullbacks Dan Nesfeder, Doug Miller and Sean Ankrom, surrendered only 8 goals. Nesfeder and Arner are currently training with the New York Red Bulls Regional Development School.
